VieSID and the Department of Orthodontics, University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC) team up with Gamma Dental www.gammadental.com at the Congress of the American Association of Orthodontics in the session “Understanding the role of occlusion in the successful management of orthodontic cases”.
In this series of talks, the Vienna School of Interdisciplinary Dentistry – VieSID and the UIC Department of Orthodontics will shake up the current view on occlusion management based on the interdisciplinary approach for the treatment of the masticatory system developed by Prof. R. Slavicek and Professor R.M. Ricketts. The functional role of occlusion will be elucidated by considering clinical, biological, biomechanical and evolutionary aspects. Accurate diagnostic methods and comprehensive therapeutic concepts will be amply illustrated.
